The Mavericks are the Best Team in the NBA.

Can anyone stop the Dallas Mavericks out there? The answer seems to be a resounding ‘no’ because the team from the ‘D’ continue their relentless march for perfection. After a horrendous start to the season the Mavs have become a basketball
juggernaut that is as destructive as Godzilla. The latest victims of a Dallas beat down were the Sacramento Kings who got smashed to the tune of 109-90.
The biggest chink in the armour for the Mavs according to coach Avery Johnson is the team is getting bored with the big leads they build. Nice problem to have there coach.
Josh Howard and Dirk Nowitzki did most of the damage for Dallas as usual with the Big Sauerkraut scoring 18 points, but still seemed to be suffering from the blurred vision that inhibited him in their last contest.
Dallas laid the smackdown and as a consequence angered Ron Artest who vowed to take revenge on the Mavs for humiliating them today.
Want Knicks news? Well, they continue to suck harder than a veteran porn actress with Detroit their latest conquerors. The Pistons beat the Knicks 108-100 with Chauncey Billups doing most of the hurt scoring 22 points and dishing off 16 assists. Mr. Big Shot was the big man on campus today.
Chauncey B-B-B-illups outplayed the Knicks backcourt of Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis aka the Two-Headed Monster who were shite. Yes, NBALOUD did vow that ‘Starbury’ wasn’t going to get any negative press on this space but he is making himself hard to love with his selfish performances and petulant behaviour.
It could be argued even that we have found the black hole and it is Stephon Marbury because he seems to suck the life and light out of every team he plays in.
Chicago post Headband-gate has steadied their ship somewhat to record their third win on the trot downing the New Orleans Hornets, 111-108. Andres Nocioni was the man for the Bulls scoring a career high 31 points.
How did Ben Wallace perform in this game? Thirty-two minutes of basketball – one point, one block and four rebounds. Fuck Ben, Captain Kirk grabbed as many rebounds as you did!
We end today’s NBA summary with the game that was played on ESPN today involving the high octane Phoenix Suns and the sweet shooting Michael Redd led Milwaukee Bucks.
The game was highly entertaining but the Bucks got their hearts broken again by the team from the valley of the sun. In fact Milwaukee hasn’t won a game in Phoenix for close to two decades. Ouch!
Shawn Marion was again the lynchpin for the Suns scoring 27 points and “holding” Michael Redd to only 37 points.
Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire had their usual excellent games to curb the efforts of Redd and his backcourt partner Mo Williams who added 31 points and 10 rebounds.
NBALOUD is beginning to become a big fan of Reddman and his lofty position as one of the best shooting guards in the league seems justified. In fact the way he is playing, he probably deserves to move to a higher position.
