The 'Matrix' Shuts Down T-Mac. Dwight Howard Gives Fans a Glimpse Into the Future of the NBA.

After a few days of writing about other NBA things it’s time to get back on track and cover the latest game news because there are readers out there that must be dying for current NBA events and use NBALOUD exclusively for basketball information. If NBALOUD believes that than this writer wants to buy a certain bridge in Sydney that anyone is willing to sell. Hey, I really am that gullible.
Today’s biggest shock result saw a shite New York Knicks team go to the house of LeBron and ransack the joint, 101-98. Yes, you read correctly, not only did the Knicks win a game but beat a very good Cavs team in the process.
Much maligned center Eddy Curry and Quentin Richardson were the two players that did the most damage for the Knicks. Curry was a monster dropping 24 points – 12 in the final – and the Q man dropped 27. Gigitty-gigitty.
Curry was a very impressive low post presence in this game dominating both the offensive and defensive ends. Eddy is such a tantalising talent but has so far had a starcrossed career but on nights like this his potential seems limitless.
The Q man not only was a star on the offensive end for the Knicks today, but also did a very good job on King James. The king managed to still score 27 points but from 10-of-22 shooting, all because the Q was on Bron-Bron’s ass like a dirty jockstrap. Alllllriight. Gigitty-gigitty.
Does anyone remember one of the biggest early season shocks was a horrible Dallas team? Good, neither does NBALOUD because the ‘D’ have won their eleventh straight game.
Dallas did suffer a bit of a scare in this game though with their superstar Dirk Nowitzki leaving the contest in the first quarter due to blurred vision. Luckily for the Mavs Josh Howard stepped it up to score 26 points to help Dallas beat Toronto, 117-98.
Even without their star big man the Mavs were able to easily overcome the Raptors. Come on, 117-98 isn’t a competition – it’s a brutal bitch slap.
Perhaps the best news is that the Big Sauerkraut is expected to suit up for Dallas’ next game.
The marquee match-up today was the game that saw Houston and Phoenix butt heads, with the Suns coming up victorious, 102-91.
Phoenix once again was led by Steve Nash and an improving Amare Stoudemire, while Raja Bell also pitched in scoring 20 points. In fact the Suns beat Houston with an extremely balanced attack getting contributions from all comers.
Tracy McGrady topped the score sheet for Houston with 23 points but was a woeful 9-for-26 shooting while being guarded by Shawn Marion for most of the night. T-Mac couldn’t get past the Matrix and probably should have taken the blue pill to avoid being dominated by Neo.
Want a prediction from Captain Obvious aka NBALOUD? Dwight Howard is going to be the new aged dominant big man once Shaq hangs up his size 21 kicks. The future turned the present into putty by scoring 24 points and grabbing 12 boards to lead the Orlando Magic to a 94-84 win over Seattle.
Not only did the Magic get the ‘W’ but it was also their fifth straight victory.
Other Results
Atlanta def. Charlotte 99-90
New Jersey def. Boston 106-103
Utah def. San Antonio 83-75
LA Clippers def. Memphis 105-90
Indiana def. Golden State 108-106
