The Dallas Mavericks and San Antonio Spurs Bounce Back in Game 2.

First and foremost an apology for the lack of response to all who have visited and been kind enough to comment – replies will be happening soon as humanly possible. This NBA writer has been a busy bee with the dreary world of academia intruding into basketball watching and writing time.
With the formalities over let the NBA playoffs reporting madness begin!
Starting with those dastardly Spurs who bounced back as expected in game 2, tying the series at 1-1 by beating the Warriors, 97-88.
The big three for San Antonio in Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili had sub-par game one performances and were keen to make amends, which they did in style. Timmy led the way with 22 points, Mr. Eva Longoria had 20, while El Loco dropped 15 of his 17 points in the second half.
You can bet your sweet ass that when the star trio for the Spurs have their top games going on they’re close to unbeatable. Drats!
Cleveland meanwhile is finding life extremely easy so far in their match-up with Washington winning again, 109-102.
Drew Gooden along with LeBron James were the big guns in this game with Gooden scoring 24 and Bron-Bron banging in 27.
We’ve already mentioned repeatedly that the Wizards would struggle without Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler and they aren’t proving the doubters wrong. Get out your brooms because this looks like a sweep.
Speaking of trios that once again performed up to their sparkling standard, Dirk Nowitzki, Josh Howard and Jason Terry were stung by the criticism of their game 1 performance so they responded in the best manner possible – by laying the smackdown on Golden State, 112-99.
Jet, Dirk Diggler, and, er, J. Ho all had sublime games scoring in the 20’s whilst breaking the so-called hoodoo that G. State apparently had over Dallas.
Coach for the Mavs Avery Johnson went back to the good ol’ game plan that won them a league best 67 games and it worked wonders. Not surprisingly. Baron Davis who was so good in the first game for the Warriors also helped proceedings along when he got tossed out of the game in the waning seconds of the third quarter. You can say, done and done for G. State.
Once again thanks to everyone who has commented and visited. NBALOUD will endeavour to respond in the appropriate manner once this Criminal Law assignment which is due tomorrow is done and dusted.
Today’s video is of the top 10 plays from yesterday’s playoff games. Watch this clip because there is some mad basketball moments on this video, especially involving the ass kicking Suns.
